Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance on Android in Angola: Q2 2024

The second quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top Travel and Local apps on the Android platform in Angola. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at how these apps fared.

Airbnb experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from 2.8K in early April and peaking at 6.4K in early June. The app's weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 20.9K at the beginning of the quarter to 26.5K by the end of June.

UGO Angola had a fluctuating download pattern throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a high of 4K in the second week of April but dipped to around 1.2K in late April. By the end of June, the downloads stabilized around 3.4K.

POPÖ maintained a relatively steady download rate, with weekly downloads hovering around 700 to 900. The app saw a slight increase towards the end of June, reaching 954 downloads in the final week.

Mobile Number Locator had an interesting quarter with a spike in downloads in early April at 2.2K, followed by a significant drop. The weekly downloads remained below 200 for most of the quarter. Meanwhile, active users showed a consistent pattern, peaking at 6.2K in early April and ending the quarter at around 5.7K.

Currency Converter Plus saw a remarkable increase in downloads mid-quarter, from 71 in early April to 820 in early June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 764 and rising to 1.8K by the end of June.
